Airbus: Airbus Helicopters orders fall in 2022

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters announced a drop in its orders for FY 2022 on Wednesday, but also an increase in its deliveries, in a market considered "complex" due to the war in Ukraine and its supply problems.


The world's number one civil helicopter manufacturer said that it booked 374 orders last year, including 362 units in net terms, compared with 419 in 2021.

However, deliveries increased to 344 in 2022, up from 338 in the previous year, representing a 52% market share in the civil and parapublic sector.

In terms of fleet flying hours, activity is now back to pre-Covid-19 crisis levels, the Airbus subsidiary said.

Airbus' annual results are due out on 16 February.
