Airbus: Mali orders a new C295 transport plane

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus today announced that the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Mali has placed a firm order for an additional Airbus C295 in military transport aircraft configuration.


This second plane, which will be delivered in 2021, will add to the first C295 that has been in service since December 2016, and which has already accumulated 1,770 flight hours and carried over 38,000 passengers and 900 metric tonnes of cargo in less than four years of operation.

This new order also includes integrated logistics support, including a spare parts package for both aircraft, along with training for crews and mechanics.
