Airbus: delivers first A380 to All Nippon Airways

(CercleFinance.com) - Today the Japanese airline All Nippon Airways (ANA) has received its first A380 in Toulouse.

The company hence becomes the 15th operator of the world's largest passenger aircraft.

ANA has ordered three A380s and will operate these aircraft on the Tokyo Narita to Honolulu route as from 24 May. Each ANA A380 will have the Hawaii's green marine turtle logo, also called Honu.

The ANA A380 can accommodate up to 520 passengers.

Following today's delivery to ANA, 232 A380s are currently operated by 15 companies on 120 routes worldwide.
