Airbus: Hungary orders 16 H225M helicopters

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that Hungary has ordered 16 H225M helicopters that are equipped with the HForce weapons system, an order that is accompanied with a training and support program to guarantee the highest level of operational availability.


The H225M that have been selected by the Hungarian government will be given the latest communication capacities and will be used to transport troops, search and rescue in combat and special operations.

Through this contract, Hungary becomes the ninth country to choose the H225M. This 11-tonne helicopter, 88 of which are currently in service, recently crossed the threshold of 100,000 hours of flight since its first delivery was made in 2006.
