Airbus: first A380 of ANA leaves paintshop

(CercleFinance.com) - The first A380 of all Nippon Airways (ANA) has left Airbu' paintshop in Hamburg, Germany, sporting the distinctive and unique colours of the Hawaiian Sea turtle, Green Sea.

ANA has placed firm orders for three A380s, becoming the first buyer of the superjumbo in Japan.

The airline will receive the first A380 at the end of the first quarter of 2019 and will fly the aircraft on the Narita-Honolulu route. ANA's three A380s will be painted in special editions, representing sea turtles from Hawaii. The first plane is blue, the second will be green and the third orange.

At the end of November, Airbus had delivered 232 A380s, which are now in service with 14 airlines worldwide.
