Airbus: new contracts for 431 planes at Farnborough

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced solid airplane sales during the 2018 Farnborough Airshow, with successes in all of its products, especially the new A220 and A330neo families.


During this Airshow, the company signed new contracts for 431 planes (93 firm orders and 338 MoUs). These 431 aircraft include 60 A220-300, 304 planes from the A320 family, 42 A330neos and 25 A350 XWBs. The 42 options for the new A330neo include the -800 and -900 models.

Following the announcements at Farnborough, Airbus has brought its overall total for the year 2018 to 752 aircraft (354 firm orders and 398 MoUs). These 752 orders include: 120 A220s; 481 from the A320 family; 56 from the A330 family; 75 from the A350 family and 20 A380s.
