Airbus: 409 helicopters delivered last year

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters has announced that it has delivered 409 helicopters and won 350 gross orders (335 net orders) in 2017, with strong commercial performance in the heavy and super-medium helicopter segments.


The company says it has booked 54 helicopter orders from the Super Puma family and 19 "super-medium" H175 tonnage helicopter orders, therefore confirming their position as best-sellers in their respective market segments.

The Airbus Helicopters backlog also includes 168 light single-engine helicopters and 105 light H135/H145 twin-engine helicopters. At the end of the fiscal year, the backlog reached 692.
