Airbus: inaugurates its A330 C&DC in Tianjin.

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus today announced that it has inaugurated its A330 (C&DC) Commercial Development and Delivery Center in Tianjin, China, and hereby delivers the first A330 from the C&DC's production channels to Tianjin Airlines.


The group said that the C&DC A330 is responsible for aircraft completion activities, including cabin layout, aircraft painting and flight testing, as well as customer reception flights and aircraft delivery.

This new center includes a paint workshop, a weighing hangar and a main hangar that can accommodate up to three aircraft, with a surface area of 16,800 m². It plans to employ over 250 people, and will be ready to deliver two aircraft per month from the beginning of 2019.
