Airbus Group: denies accusations from Austria.

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Group announced today that it has submitted to the Vienna court in Austria its stance regarding charges of deceit made last February by Austrian Defense Minister, Mr.
Hans Peter Doskozil, regarding the acquisition of Eurofighter combat aircraft in 2003.

The European aircraft manufacturer guarantees that the fighters incriminated by the Austrian authorities were delivered in accordance with Austria's order. It added that Austria has not been deceived regarding the delivery capacity and costs of clearing operations, and no mistakes existed in this respect.

Public accusations by the Minister of Defense violate fundamental rights - instrumentalisation of justice, Airbus Group stated, for which the ministry's accusations, combined with claims for damages amounting to several million euros, seem factitious and based on political motives.
These accusations are fictitious and devoid of legal substance. There is no deception or error, said Peter Kleinschmidt, a special legal adviser for the group.
