STMicro: design launched for social distancing

(CercleFinance.com) - The Franco-Italian semiconductor maker STMicroelectronics has announced the availability of a reference design that is compact and cost-effective, which is ideally suited to monitoring social distancing.


It enables remote notification as well as the transmission of alert functions, anti-forgery and, if necessary, contact tracking, to ensure the protection of people in all environments, particularly in the event of a pandemic.

This scalable and low-power solution, which uses a set of ST integrated circuits, is suitable for wristbands used in open or closed professional environments, such as factories, offices and medical facilities.
