Philips: extends collaboration with Elekta

(CercleFinance.com) - Philips has announced that it has reached an agreement with Elekta to deepen their existing strategic partnership, which is aimed at advancing cancer treatment through precision oncology solutions.


The expanded collaboration builds on both companies' already successful cooperation in the rapidly growing field of adaptive magnetic resonance (MR) guided radiotherapy.

Based on further collaboration, both partners aim to offer superior experience in adaptive and personalised diagnosis and treatment. They also aim to offer shorter and more precise treatments with consequent lower costs, Philips says.
