Philips: launches product to assess cognitive impairment

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch health technology company Philips is launching its first clinical product to assess cognitive impairment in the US, the group said on Tuesday.


The new cognitive assessment platform - named "IntelliSpace Cognition" - is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and Philips' cloud-based health digital platform, it said.

Using computerized tools and intelligent algorithms, the solution helps neuropsychologists to test new insights for treating patients with debilitating neurological conditions.

The product will initially be commercially available only in the US, Philips said.
