Degiro: confirms ambitions for 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday morning Degiro reported FY 2018 revenues that are up 33%, at 54.
7 million euros.

Likewise, the broker announced a sharp increase (+45%) in the number of customer accounts open, which reached 358,062. There was also a strong rise in individual customer transactions, which increased 39% to 17.4 million.

In Q4 alone, Degiro opened 25,076 new accounts, for a transaction volume of over 4.6 million.

Degiro continued to win market shares in France in 2018 with transaction volumes that doubled relative to 2017, despite a context of economic uncertainties and increased regulatory constraints. Degiro confirms its initial ambition to become the leading broker in France by the end of 2019 (in terms transaction volumes), the group said.
