Spotify: partnership with Warner Bros

(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish music streaming specialist Spotify announced on Thursday that it has signed a multi-year partnership with Warner Bros.
and their superhero subsidiary DC to produce an exclusive series of podcasts.

Under the terms of the agreement, Warner Bros. Digital Networks (WBDN) will lead the project, while Warner Bros. Television Group and Blue Ribbon Content (BRC) will handle the narrative and creative aspects of the programmes.

Meanwhile, Spotify will be responsible for the marketing, advertising and distribution of content on its platform.

The stock was up almost 6% on Thursday morning on the New York Stock Exchange.
