Arcelormittal: finalises acquisition of Ilva
(CercleFinance.com) - Alongside its third quarter results, ArcelorMittal has announced the finalisation of the acquisition of Ilva SpA by AM Investco, a consortium in which it holds 94.
4% of the capital (Banca Intesa Sanpaolo holds the remaining 5.6%). As a result of this finalisation, the steel giant takes full operational control of Ilva, which will form a new business cluster within ArcelorMittal Europe - flat products, under the name ArcelorMittal Italia.
