Arcelormittal: Credit Suisse now more cautious.

(CercleFinance.com) - While maintaining its "outperform" rating on the ArcelorMittal share, Credit Suisse has cut its target price on the US stock of ArcelorMittal from 36 dollars to 31 dollars.


In particular, analysts are considering the potential acquisition of the Ilva steel plant.

This morning on the Paris Stock Exchange, the ArcelorMittal share is trading at 19.9 euros (+0.1%), while last night on Wall Street, the ADR closed at 22.3 dollars.

According to different news agencies, the integrated steelmaker appears to be in the best position to buy the Italian steel mill Ilva, based in Puglia and under state administration because of its poor financial situation. An amount of close to two billion euros has been mentioned.
