SES: satellite service for station in Antarctica

(CercleFinance.com) - SES Government Solutions (SES GS), a subsidiary of SES Global, and Artel, announces that they have teamed up with Leidos to provide vital connectivity solutions to the Palmer research station in Antarctica, operated by the National Science Foundation (NSF).


The satellite service will be used as the backbone to share information and research on the station throughout the year, from the field to the United States Antarctic Program (USAP) data center located in Colorado.
