SES: contract in Uzbekistan for DTT.

(CercleFinance.com) - SES has announced that state owned SUE CRRT of Uzbekistan will use SES Video for the upcoming launch of its first digital terrestrial television (DTT) multiplex as part of a multi-year contract.


SUE CRRT will use the NSS-12 satellite at 57 degrees East to transmit television signals from the country's capital Tashkent to all heads of its TNT network, distributing at least 12 standard definition unencoded television channels, in addition to four radio stations.

“SUE CRRT already entrusted SES with the carriage of state TV and radio channels for DTH and cable contribution two years ago,” said Norbert Hölzle, Senior Vice President, Commercial Europe at SES Video.
