SES: agreement extended with Sky News International.

(CercleFinance.com) - Luxembourg group SES has announced the extension of its agreement with SKY News International, which will enable its European viewers to keep up with current events from the orbital position of 19.
2 degrees East.

Under the agreement Sky News International will use the satellite operator's capability on ASTRA 1N and related uplink services to broadcast its content to individuals and businesses across Europe.

The orbital position of 19.2 degrees East plays a key role for video distribution in Europe. With four satellites on this orbital slot, SES Video broadcasts over 900 channels to 116 million households.
