Toyota: record market share in Europe
(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota Motor Europe (TME) has announced that it sold 284,506 vehicles in Europe over the first three months of the year, while down 1% y-o-y, it did a lot better than the rest of the car market, which contracted by 14%.
In this context, TME achieved its best ever quarterly market share of 7.6%, up 1% compared to the last year. The company also says that the share of Toyota EVs in Europe has increased to 69%.
