Toyota: 2m European deliveries of hybrid vehicles

(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Tuesday, the Toyota group announced that it has delivered its two millionth hybrid-electric vehicle to Polish customer sold by Toyota since this technology was introduced in Europe in 2000.


This is a Toyota C-HR car. The customer who received it was given a gift card for one year of fuel.

Since the launch of the Prius in 1997 in Japan, Toyota has sold over twelve million hybrid vehicles worldwide. The group intends to accelerate the generalisation of electrified vehicles and add 5.5 million to circulation each year from 2030, including at least one million zero-emission vehicles.
