Unicredit: raises guidelines for 2022

(CercleFinance.com) - Unicredit's Q2 2022 net profit amounted to 1.
5 billion euros (excluding the impact of Russia), resulting in a CET1 ratio of 15.73%.

Meanwhile, net revenues over the period came in at 4.4 billion euros, up 12.5% y-o-y (excluding Russia).

In Q2 2022 operating costs fell by 4.4% y-o-y (excluding Russia), demonstrating its discipline in managing the cost base while protecting revenue generation.

UniCredit has raised its financial guidance for 2022, now expecting revenues of above 16.7 billion euros, and net profit of around 4.0 billion euros, excluding Russia.

The Italian bank's shares are currently up over 6% in Milan.
