UniCredit: agrees to new terms of deal with SIA
(CercleFinance.com) - UniCredit and fintech firm SIA have agreed to revise the terms of their current outsourcing agreement for the supply of certain card processing services, the Italian banking giant said on Monday.
The deal covers card transactions and the management of point-of-sale (POS) and automated teller machine (ATM) terminals in Italy, Austria and Germany, Italy's largest bank said. The amended agreement, whose specific terms were not disclosed, allows SIA to renew the agreement until 2036, UniCredit noted. As part of the deal, SIA paid 228 million euros to UniCredit, in line with expectations.
