ENI: acquisition in renewable energy in US

(CercleFinance.com) - The Italian oil company Eni announced on Thursday the acquisition, alongside its peer Falck Renewables, of Building Energy Holdings US, which has a portfolio of 62 megawatts (MW) of wind and solar assets operating in the United States - particularly in Iowa.


The scope of the deal, which has an estimated price of 32.5 million dollars, also includes wind and solar projects under development with a capacity of up to 160 MW.

Novis Renewables, the joint subsidiary of Falck Renewables and Eni in the US, already operates 113 MW of solar assets in the country.
