Luxottica: renews exclusive license agreement with Tiffany.

(CercleFinance.com) - Italy's Luxottica today announced the renewal of its exclusive license agreement with Tiffany for the development and distribution of sunglasses and prescription frames under the US jeweler's brand name.


The creative division will be overseen by Tiffany's chief artistic officer, Reed Krakoff.

The contract will last until December 2027.

Also, market rumours say that the Luxottica and Essilor merger will be cleared by European antitrust authorities, without the need for any significant remedial actions.

The current provisional deadline for EU approval is 8 March 2018.

The Milan-listed shares were up 1.2% after this news.
