Linde: raises 2021 EPS outlook

(CercleFinance.com) - Linde says that it has raised its FY 2021 adjusted EPS target range to 10.
52 to 10.62 dollars, which represents a 28%-29% year-on-year improvement.

For Q3 2021, the industrial gas supplier posted adjusted EPS that is up 27% at 2.73 dollars, with its adjusted operating margin improving 150 basis points to 23.6% and sales up 12% at 7.7 billion dollars.

Underlying sales increased by 11% relative to 2020, 3% of which was thanks to a price effect and 8% due to higher volumes, with volume growth across all geographic segments and end markets.

The share is up about 0.7% at lunchtime on Thursday.
