Linde: Q3 beats consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Industrial gas group Linde has reported adjusted EPS that is up 11% at 2.
15 dollars, above the consensus.
Adjusted profit from continuing operations was 1,140 million dollars, up 8% y-o-y.

At 6.85 billion dollars, sales declined 2% y-o-y, excluding FX factors and cost impacts, with a 2% increase in prices partly offset by a 3% decline in volumes that was mainly due to the pandemic.

Appreciating its employees' performance, with its operating margin increasing, irrespective of underlying economic conditions, and while acknowledging major economic uncertainties, the group is confident in its business model and high-performance culture, and believes that it will be able to continue to post growth in both earnings and cash flow in future years.
