Linde: to work with China's Baowu Steel on hydrogen

(CercleFinance.com) - Linde said that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with China's top steel maker, Baowu Steel, to further develop China's hydrogen market.


The industrial gas maker and Baowu Steel's new unit, Baowu Clean Energy, will jointly cooperate on research and development for industrial and mobility applications, they said.

Linde and Baowu plan to work together to increase the accessibility of hydrogen to industries and advance the acceptance of hydrogen mobility solutions in China.

Under the agreement, they will also explore the option to invest in liquid hydrogen plants and infrastructure.
