Ryanair: fivefold increase in passenger numbers last month
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Ryanair announced that it had more than quadrupled its passenger traffic in November, a performance that was accompanied by a significant improvement in its load factor.
The low-cost airline said it carried some 10.2 million passengers last month, up from about two million in November 2020.
Its load factor - a measure of how well it fills its planes - stood at 86%, compared with 62% a year ago.
After first dipping up to 0.5% in Dublin following these figures, the share is now up 0.3%.
