Accenture: buys Spanish big data firm

(CercleFinance.com) - Consulting group Accenture said on Tuesday that it has agreed to buy Pragsis Bidoop, a Spanish firm specialised in advanced analytics.


Headquartered in Madrid, with offices in Barcelona and the UK, the AI firm has more than 200 employees with deep machine learning and big data engineering.

Founded in 2004, Pragsis Bidoop has many clients in the IBEX 35 index in Spain, and multinational corporations in Mexico, Brazil and other Latin America markets.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
