Accenture: buys minority stake in UK data intelligence firm

(CercleFinance.com) - Consulting and outsourcing group Accenture has formed a strategic alliance with Ripjar and has made a minority investment in the UK-based data intelligence firm.


The move is intended to expand Accenture capability in security, data, automated analytics, and machine learning, the IT company said.

As part of the deal, Accenture will leverage Ripjar's platform to help clients work on strategic issues including public safety, financial crime, and the prevention and detection of cyberattacks.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
