CRH: sells European distribution business
(CercleFinance.com) - CRH, the Irish construction materials group, this morning announces the closure of the sale of its European distribution business to American private equity group Blackstone, with an enterprise value of approximately 1.
6 billion dollars (1.45 billion euros), in cash. The scope in question represents a turnover of 3.7 billion euros, EBITDA of 155 million euros and before-tax profits of 124 million, with gross assets of 1.9 billion euros.
