Standard Life: merger with Aberdeen now complete.

(CercleFinance.com) - Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life have completed their merger, creating one of the world's largest money managers, with assets under management of 670 billion pounds (737 billion euros).


In a statement on Tuesday, the two groups said Standard Life Aberdeen will have offices in 50 cities around the world, servicing clients in 80 countries.

It has a market capitalisation of over 11 billion pounds (12.1 billion euros).

The deal between the two companies was first announced in last March.
