Vodafone: selects Juniper for enterprise infrastructure

(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone has named US network equipment maker Juniper Networks to supply it with SD-WAN gear for its enterprise-focused SDN portfolio, the firms said on Tuesday, marking another step towards the adoption of 5G.


The deal means that Vodafone's enterprise customers will now have a self-care portal providing real-time visibility and analysis of their network performance, they said.

By delivering SD-WAN services, Vodafone seeks to extend the reach of its enterprise connectivity portfolio, and to focus on future innovations, including 5G, industrial IoT, Big Data and the so-called "cloudification."
