TechnipFMC: wins contracts with Petrobras

(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC and its joint venture partner DOF Subsea have reported winning significant long-term charter and service contracts with Petrobras for the pipe-laying support vessels Skandi Vitória and Skandi Niteroi.


These vessels, built in Brazil, are owned by DOFCON Navegação Ltda, a joint venture between TechnipFMC and DOF Subsea. Each contract will last three years, with an option to extend them.

Operations are set to start in February 2022. Skandi Niteroi will mainly operate in shallow water, while Skandi Vitória will also work in deep water. They will both carry out dismantling and subsea installation work.
