TechnipFMC: wins engineering contract in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC last night announced that it has been awarded an engineering contract for the design of an oil platform located offshore Brazil, at a depth of 300 metres.


The specialist in project management for the energy industry said that the agreement includes the installation of subsea "trees", flexible pipes and umbilicals.

All structures will be connected to an existing floating storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, the group said in a statement.

The terms of the contract, won with the Australian company Karoon Energy, were not disclosed.
