TechnipFMC: big reduction in stake in Technip Energies

(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC announces the sale of 25 million shares of Technip Energies, representing approximately 14% of the company's capital, through a private placement, via accelerated bookbuilding.


The sale price has been set at 11.10 euros per share, implying total gross proceeds of 277.5 million euros for this placement, which is expected to be settled on, or around the end of this week, i.e. 30 April.

In addition, Technip Energies will buy back approximately 1.8 million of its own shares at the same price, representing a total of 20 million euros. These two deals will reduce TechnipFMC's direct stake in Technip Energies to approximately 31%.
