RBS: names deputy CFO as interim chief financial officer

(CercleFinance.com) - The Royal Bank of Scotland Group's chief financial officer has stepped down and will be replaced on an interim basis by the banks' deputy CFO.


Ewen Stevenson will stay on the board until 30 September to facilitate the transition as RBS looks for a successor, it said.

Stevenson will continue to receive his salary, fixed share allowance, pension and benefit funding up to 30 November.

Last June, HSBC announced that Iain Mackay would retire and would be succeeded by Ewen Stevenson as group finance director, on a date that will be confirmed in due course.
