easyJet: 'encouraging' booking trends

(CercleFinance.com) - easyJet says that so far, booking trends on flights that have resumed are encouraging and that demand for the summer of 2020 is improving, albeit with a weak basis.


For the fourth quarter of 2020, the airline currently expects to provide around 30% of capacity scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019, which it will continue to assess in light of regulatory developments and demand from clients.

Over the longer term, at the end of 2021 it expects the size of its fleet to be in the lower end of its range, at around 302 aircraft, i.e. 51 less than the number it communicated to the market before the Covid-19 crisis.
