easyJet: shares get Berenberg upgrade boost

(CercleFinance.com) - Shares in easyJet rise as much as 3 percent after Berenberg says the low-cost carrier could see "opportunity" in the short-haul crisis, and upgrades its rating on the stock to "buy".


According to the brokerage firm, factors such as aircraft delays and the failures of smaller, distressed carriers could improve pricing and margins into 2020.

The analysts raise their target price to 1,120 pence from 1,040 pence.

Shares in easyJet are trading at 990.6 pence, up 2.7 per cent, on the London Stock Exchange on Friday.
