easyJet: opens a new base in Bordeaux.

(CercleFinance.com) - easyJet announced on Tuesday morning the opening of a new base in Bordeaux (Gironde), its sixth base in France.


This base will create 110 direct jobs, thanks to local contracts, and will become operational next spring.

Three of the low cost airline's Airbus A320s will be based in the Gironde metropolis and over five new routes will be launched.

easyJet expects a 21% rise in the number of passengers passing through Bordeaux to over two million a year.
