Shell: sells natural gas assets in Canada

(CercleFinance.com) - Canadian natural gas firm Pieridae has signed an agreement to buy Shell's midstream and upstream assets in the southern Alberta Foothills region for a price of 145 million dollars.


The deal includes the payment of 132 million dollars in cash to be raised through debt and equity, and the issuance of Pieridae common shares to Shell for 13 million dollars, the companies said.

The deal is expected to be closed in the third quarter of 2019.
