Centrica: stock plunges after guidance cut.

(CercleFinance.com) - Centrica is having a very tricky day today, with the share collapsing 15.
3% to 138.4 pence at 14:30 London time.

The UK energy supplier said it now expects EPS of 12.5 pence this year, i.e. 2.4 pence lower than analysts expected, including an impact of 0.8 pence in North America due to a non-cash charge.

In particular, the group has cited difficult conditions in its domestic market, as well as in North America, with operating profit disappointing.
