G4S: EU clears acquisition by Allied Universal

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of exclusive control of G4S by Allied Universal Topco.


G4S is an integrated global security company offering a wide range of security services worldwide. Allied Universal is a security services and facilities management company that primarily operates in the US and, to a lesser extent, other countries, including the UK.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns due to the limited impact that it would have on the market.
