BT: signs cloud agreement with AWS

(CercleFinance.com) - BT today announced that its digital business has signed an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of its drive to transform its internal infrastructure and applications into a new cloud-based architecture.


This effort will help accelerate BT's plans to create and innovate faster on a new suite of digital products and services, while reducing IT maintenance costs.

The agreement is part of BT's modernisation program which aims to generate 2 billion pounds in annualised gross savings by the end of 2024.
