BT: signs five-year contract with Alstom
(CercleFinance.com) - BT today announced a five-year contract with Alstom to upgrade its global network using the latest cloud-optimised connectivity solutions.
The new network will connect Alstom's 350 sites across 60 countries, including manufacturing sites, offices, depots and data centres, BT said. The new solution will also provide agile and secure access to business applications and services used by Alstom employees, the majority of whom (24,000 out of about 34,500) have worked remotely during the pandemic.
