AstraZeneca: 360 million dollars invested in Ireland

(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca announced on Tuesday its intention to invest 360 million dollars in an Irish production site in order to have the necessary capacity to develop new medicines.


These funds, destined to Dublin's Alexion Campus, should allow for the creation of a hundred jobs, in particular for engineers and researchers, explains the pharmaceutical group in a communication.

AstraZeneca, which has recently sealed a deal to buy American Alexion, underlines that the factory will be equipped with cutting-edge technology to offer high-level synthesis capabilities.
