BP: OGA approval to develop Alligin field

(CercleFinance.com) - BP says it has received approval from the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) to develop Alligin, which targets 20 million barrels of oil equivalent, and aims to produce 12,000 barrels gross of oil equivalent a day at peak.


Located 140 km west of Shetland in a water depth of 475 metres, this development will consist of two wells connected to the existing infrastructure, utilising the processing and export facilities of the Glen Lyon floating, production storage, offload (FPSO) vessel.
