BAE Systems: $21m dollar contract with UK
(CercleFinance.com) - The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded a 21 million dollar contract to BAE Systems to support the CMWS, a missile warning system that equips many aircraft, for the next 4 and a half years.
The new contract entails the continued support and maintenance of the CMWS systems installed in the various UK aircraft platforms. Equipping the US Army and planes of 16 allied countries, over 3,000 CMWS units have been installed on more than 40 different platforms, logging more than 4 million flight hours, BAE Systems said.
