Diageo: raises stake in EABL

(CercleFinance.com) - Diageo, through its indirect fully owned subsidiary Diageo Kenya Limited, today announced that it has "successfully" completed the tender offer to increase its overall shareholding in East African Breweries PLC ("EABL") from 50.
03% to 65%.

Noting that the tender offer was oversubscribed to, Diageo Kenya applied the reduction mechanism, specified in the tender offer document, to purchase a pro-rata proportion of the shares that were tendered.
